Borderlands 2 dlc order7/25/2023 ![]() For example, if you start the Pirate DLC at level 15, the first mission and the first map (Oasis) will be level 15. ![]() In the 4 campaign DLC's (Pirate, Torgue, Hammerlock and Tina), new missions and maps will generally scale to your level, within the ranges listed above. ![]() The Headhunter DLC's have a range from 15 - 35. The Hammerlock and Tina DLC's have a range from 30 - 35. The Pirate and Torgue DLC's have a range from 15 - 30. If you have Digistruct Peak (included with the second level cap increase), that is level 35. Levels in Normal Mode (first playthrough): So, if you haven't completed the main game at least once, you should do that first, just to avoid spoilers, and maybe understand some references that you might not get. In particular, there's a huge one in the opening cinematic for the Tina DLC (the first time you go to Unassuming Docks). (Salvador: Killin Bad Guys is ALWAYS FUN!)įirst of all, all of the DLC are set after the events in the main game, and some contain spoilers for events in the main game. Then once you have the gear you want, and you're ready to start UVHM, turn the DLC back on, and start at lvl 50 with lvl 50 guns, against lvl 50 bad guys. So, the advice is, if you are going to spend a lot of time looking for gear at lvl 50, disable the DLC for the level cap increase while you're doing that. You would have a real hard time gettng started. if you did, the monsters would be lvl 55, but your guns (leftover from playthru 2) would be capped at lvl 50. Because of this, tehre's a lot of advice not to level up to lvl 55 before starting UVH mode. ![]() Playthru 3 (Ult Vault Hunter Mode) lifts the lvl cap to 61 (or 72 if you have all DLCs enabled), and the monsters are the same level as you are. still a lot of ppl spend extra time at lvl 50 to get some good gear to give themselves a head-start for playthru 3. If you want to get your character up to lvl 72, you won't still be using lvl 50 items. If you want to get a lvl 50 version of the quest reward, then you want to skip the quest during playthru 2. Playthru 2 is the one that ppl give a lot of advice on. Without spoilers, I tend to do a lot of sidequests in playthru 1, and I was lvl 36ish when i finished the vanilla game, then I did the sidequests and gradually got to like lvl 40ish from the quest exp (the bad guys are capped at lvl 35 for play thru 1, so I wasn't getting much exp from kills at that point). but in the long run it doesnt really matter what lvl you do things in playthru 1, you will eventially outlevel all the playthru 1 gear. The DLCs will set to your level when you first go there, I think. 15 Borderlands – The Zombie Island of Dr.Playthru 1, just have fun.
